Ten years ago, a trust-based partnership was forged between Soud Al Mana and KRG Pillai with a vision to provide services with professionalism, integrity and an undiluted focus on customer’s needs in Qatar’s booming economy. Thus was born Progressive with a mission to provide exceptional, high-quality service for Projects, Catering and Trading to businesses in order to help them achieve success in their core business.

Progressive opened its doors in May 2008 with 30 employees in a 100 sq.ft office on Salawa road, with initial services in Catering and CampSupport.

At the heart of maintaining a motivated work-force is good, nutritious food. Guided by this philosophy, Progressive Catering began serving a wonderful culinary experience to its clients with a wide array of world cuisine including Arabic, Indian, Filipino, African and Continental.

Today, our catering division serves not only the industrial sector, remote sites and conferences, but also provides outdoor and event catering, and continues to excel in its culinary offerings. With an aim to support our clients in managing their operations efficiently, Progressive has been a dependable provider of camp support services such as laundry and housekeeping.

Within a year of launching, Progressive expanded into 2 more verticals: Building Materials Trading, Manpower & Project Support Services.

Launched in 2010, our Trading Division dealt with products related to Civil Construction, MEP, Structural Fabrication and Interior Decorations. Over the years Progressive Trading has steadily grown into a one-stop shop for our exclusive in-house brands, as well as more than 4000 quality products sourced from India, China, UK, Germany, Taiwan, Thailand, Pakistan, Singapore. Today, our trading division serves more than 450 businesses all over Qatar from its 3500sq.ft warehouse, store and office in Industrial area no.16, 38 and 36

Our Manpower Recruitment division, licensed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs solves complex hiring needs for companies in Qatar. We serve a large cross-section of sectors – Construction, Sales and Hospitality, Hotels, Catering, FMCG, Oil & Gas, Security Services, Cleaning & Facility Management, and Healthcare.

Our project support division provides highly-skilled technicians and workers across various sectors. Our workforce comprises Indian, Nepalese, Sri-Lankan, Kenyan, Ghanan, Indonesian, Bangladeshi and Filipino workers.

In 2017, Progressive responded to Qatar Government’s clarion call for self-sufficiency in food products following the siege. With the launch of our Food Trading Division, we are well-placed to provide high-quality staple food products. Our decade-long record of dependable service and integrity has earned us the trust of renowned entities such as Qatar Airways, Hamad International Airport, GWC, Qatar Steel, Newrest Gulf.

Our focus on quality and reliable system-based operations has won us several ISO certifications such as ISO 9001-2015, ISO 18001-2007, ISO 22000-2005 and ISO 14001-2015 On the occasion of successfully completing 10 years, Progressive marked its social responsibility by conducting a blood donation campaign in association with HMC.

Now in our 11th year, with a team of 100 professionals and a labor force of 700 skilled workers, we march forward with enthusiasm, committed to the promise of undiluted focus on clients’ needs and delivering quality without compromise.
